35. The following are some of the works I saw besides a large number of Purāṇas: —
A Birudapatākā by Kamalanayana, a Brahman from the south, celebrating the virtues of Vikramāditya, son of Jumhārasiṁha, of the family of Vīrasiṁha, the sovereign king of kings whose lotus-like feet were dyed with the rays of the crest jewels or the circle of kings of Nishadha, Magadha, Aṇga, Vaṇga, Kaliṅga, Kekaya, Kuntala and other various provinces,
Ujjvalanīlamaṇi with a commentary.
Govindabirudāvali with a commentary by Vidyāvibhūshaṇa.
Vṛittamauktika by Chandraśekharakavi,
Śāṇḍilyasūtravṛitti by Nārāyaṇatīrtha.
Lalitamādhava.
Kāvyachintāmaṇi.
Kāvyaprakāśadīpikā by Guṇaratnagaṇi.
A commentary on Kāvyaprakāśa by Rājānanda.
Nītivākyāmṛita by Somadevasūri.
Chhandaḥkaustubha by Durgeśvarabhaṭṭa.
I have asked for a loan of the first for a more careful examination in case it should yield any historical information.
