This gentle remedy (as the clever doctor mixes his medicine in a sweet syrup when giving it to a child) of adoration (ārādahanā) of right faith (samyagdarśana) is being administered to you, suffering from the disease of wrong-belief (mithyātva) [note 1] and unable to discriminate between what is good and what is bad.
