50. Having praised thee with devotion, though of boyish mind, whose deeds (previously committed) are burnt like firewood by the fire of meditation, grant me wisdom, which is the ship on the sea of fear.[1]

[1] This verse has already been published by Bühler, Pāiya° p. 9. Hidden in it is the name of the poet Dhanapāla (Dhanabāla).
