    35. The destruction of error will take place through your worship, O Unchanging One, in this I rejoice; but that you shall not be worshipped here, I grieve over it.[1]

    [1] Comm.: Tava sevaya mohasyocchedo bhavishyatīti-hetor harshaṃ vahāmi |

    yat punas tatras mohocheda tva(ṃ) na vandanīyas tena kshīṇo hhavāmi.

    The commentary therefore explains ḍijjhāmi by kshīṇo bhavāmi.

    The root kshi is called jhijj in Prakrit according to Hern. IV, 20 (also Hāla, Setubandha), but in another place where jhijj occurs, Hem. II, 3, the Bombay edition has our form ḍijjh for it, as Pischel states in the note. — The actual Sanskrit equivalent for ḍijjhāmi is probably dahye I am burned, where i stands for a, as in ciccā = tyaktvā.
