[1] Comm. Hey jina! Matsariṇas tavāślāghā-prastāve bāliśāyanti, pūrvaṃ vacana-kuśalā api, tad-avasare vācā bhagna-prasarayā eat. Ayam āśayaḥ: Durjanāḥ sūcī-randhra-mātram api dūshaṇaṃ jñātvāsanty api vacanīyāni āropayitum upakramante; tvayi tu paramāṇu-mātram api dosham apaśyanto hatāśā eva jātāḥ. Atra "jina" iti sābhiprāyam yato rāgādi-jetṛitvāj jinaḥ, na ca rāgādivyatiriktaḥ ko ‘pi dosha-hetur asti.
