15. Hail to that Śreyānsa by whom you, parched by penance and without food, were refreshed at the end of the year, as the tree in the forest is refreshed by the cloud.[1]

[1] Comm.: Atha pāraṇakām āśrityāha || Yena tvām varshānte nirvapitah saṃtarpita ikshu-rasai (ḥ), āhāra-rahito ‘ta eva tapasā śoshitaḥ, yathā meghena vana-vṛiksho nirvapyate.
