    13. Now to study the connection between the lay vows and the great vows defined in terms of the 11 pratimā -s for the lay people. It should be noted here that all 11 pratimā -s have a minimum and maximum time set, using the minimum time one can go through these 11 pratimā -s in a short time, using the maximum time one can do more than this life let go. Here, however, it can be seen that up to the 7th pratimā, the layman will always follow a marching order in times of war. Only from the 8th pratimā is the spiritual person a monk or nun to the extent that they only devote themselves to their own eternally living soul and the spiritual world and stay out of this power-political world.
