    The member of the Kevalajñānavinayatāpasya-saṅgha can belong to any Jain sect whether Dīgambaras, Śvetāmbaras or Sthānavākāsi. It can also be any other motivated spiritual aspirant, for everyone is able to classify his upapata.[1] Being a gotrayogin[2] is not enough, since for that type of yogin, according to Haribhadrasūri, it is even harmful or not mature enough to benefit. The minimum of the admission criteria is either:
