Church councils are empowered to delegate the work as follows:
- the president has the power to appoint a church congregation representative who is at least one of the eight classifications for the promulgation of the Jain doctrine (prabhāvanā).[1]
- the secretary can delegate his work according to the need
- the Treasurer can place the administrative tasks in the hands of knowledgeable church members.

[1] PRABHĀVANĀ or preaching of the Jain doctrine is of eight kinds, viz., by 1. one who knows the scriptures; 2. someone who delivers admirable religious lectures; 3. someone who holds disputations; 4. one who knows or teaches prediction; 5. one who practices severe penance; 6. one who has mastered the teachings (vidyās), prajñapti, etc.; 7. siddha, one who has attained magical powers; and 8. someone who writes literary products.
