    Eight characteristics of a rejoice of worldly existence [7 of 8]

    1. Foolish: ajño–mūrkhaḥ—As he is intensely deluded, he is incapable of understanding the ultimate truth. Hence, he cannot think of doing good to his own soul. This is how he is ignorant about the journey of spiritual elevation.
